Patrice CRISTOFINI (CEO)

Patrice Cristofini is a Doctor of Medicine.  He is a former intern at the Paris hospitals and is a specialist in public health, occupational health and sports medicine and traumatology.

He currently accompanies and pilots the development of innovative companies in the field of connected health in their growth, transformation and fund raising.

He launched and led HUAWEI's healthcare business in Europe for 6 years and has a strong knowledge of the Chinese market

Previously he was in charge of strategic partnerships and European affairs for the healthcare sector of Orange (Orange Healthcare) with a focus on the North American market, member of the Codir of this entity. He also managed and developed the business and strategic partnerships after defining the strategy in the e-health sector for the board of Schlumberger (global e-health champion), Atos Origin, Sema group.

Expert in supporting companies in the field of e-health He has participated in many national and international conferences, co-author of the book health at work a challenge of social dialogue and contributor of international work on e-health.  He is the Honorary President of Aftim (French Association of Technicians, Safety Engineers and Occupational Physicians), Founding Honorary President of the e-health club and the Founding President of the Shanghai Club of the Center for Strategic Studies and Prospects (CEPS), an international think tank that brings together more than 1,000 decision-makers at the international level and that is affiliated with numerous organizations (OECD, UNESCO, Council of Europe...)

Jean Paul THONIER

Jean-Paul Thonier holds a master's degree in private law, a diploma from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Toulouse and an Associate on Risk Management diploma issued by the Institute of Insurance of America.

He began his career at the Ministry of Industry and Research from 1977 to 1986, where he was in charge of the development of health industries and technologies.

He then joined the AXA-UAP group as Secretary General of a start-up specializing in computer-assisted teaching, and then joined the "Strategy and Management Control Department" of UAP, in order to manage major projects in the fields of organization, quality and risk management.

From 1998 to 2003, he was deputy delegate general of SNITEM (Syndicat national de l'industrie des technologies médicales), with particular responsibility for communications, public relations and international relations.

From 2003 to 2007, he has :

  • Participated in the creation of a risk management consulting firm, INGEA, where he served as manager from 2004 to 2007
  • Chaired the "CARM" (Circle of Risk Management Associates).

From 2007 to 2010, Jean-Paul Thonier directed the second largest inter-company occupational health service in France, AST 67 (230 employees, including 100 occupational physicians; 18,000 member companies; 300,000 employees monitored).

At the same time, from April 2005 to March 2014, he was an independent Director and Chairman of the "Ethics and Risk Management Committee" of the KORIAN Group, the European leader in dependency care: 600 establishments (EPHAD, SSR, psychiatric clinics); 60,000 residents and 40,000 employees, n°1 in the sector in Europe, listed on the SBF 120.

Elinaz MAHDAVY

Elinaz Mahdavy has more than 10 years of experience in the world of healthcare and more specifically in digital health. She was the Director of European Affairs and Strategic Partnerships for Orange Healthcare, where she represented Orange Healthcare and promoted Orange's role as a telecom operator in the healthcare sector through her participation in European institutions alongside other industry players.

She also worked on establishing eHealth strategic partnerships for Orange in Europe, the US and AMEA regions.

In parallel, Elinaz has held various positions in many key working groups: she was the chairwoman of the European Working Group of the Continua Health Alliance where she managed the European promotion of Continua within the European institutions and governmental entities in Europe. She has also been the Vice-Chair of the COCIR Public Affairs Task Force and has been involved in the digital health working group and the management of European funds.

Elinaz participated in the GSMA's EU mHealth expert task group with a specific focus on key issues for mhealth services and mobile operators to advise them in their strategic directions. Finally, she was selected to contribute to the European Commission's eHealth Stakeholders Expert Group to advise them in their future publications of the health directives.

Before joining the health and digital health sector, Elinaz represented Orange within the mobile alliance “ FreeMove ”, an international alliance between the 4 main mobile operators (Orange, Deutsche Telekom, TeliaSonera and Telecom Italia) supporting companies to reduce the complexity of managing mobile fleets. Elinaz advised the alliance on target definition and European trade strategy.

Elinaz holds its Prince2 certification, an internationally recognized certification for project management and has managed several complex European industrial conversion projects in different sectors such as pharma, e-security, health, food for consulting companies.

Elinaz is Franco-Persian and based in Brussels. She has an international academic background with an MBA from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) in Paris.

Safia CHERIFI

Safia CHERIFI is currently a communications officer for CRISTHOLD.
Graduated from a business school in Paris ICOGES (75015), she specialized in web marketing and animation of social networks through multiple trainings. Before starting the position she holds today, she started on the job market as a business developer in a Start-up, specialized in real estate by offering her commercial qualities to the start of the company.

She has also been in charge of volunteer communication for more than three years for the BDM (Brigade des mères), an association that aims to fight against domestic violence.
In addition, she supports the promotional campaign of a shop called "Bubble hair which tends to donate part of its turnover to sick children of the Necker Hospital in Paris.

An entrepreneur woman, she specializes in supporting innovative business projects with high added value for society, particularly in the social and technological health sectors.

Safia CHERIFI is currently a communications officer for CRISTHOLD.
Diplômée d’une école de commerce à Paris ICOGES (75015), elle s’est spécialisée en web marketing et animation des réseaux sociaux au travers de multiples formations. Avant d’entamer le poste qu’elle occupe aujourd’hui, elle a débuté sur le marché du travail en tant que business développer au sein d’une Start-up, spécialisée dans l’immobilier en offrant ses qualités commerciales au démarrage de l’entreprise. Elle est également chargée de communication bénévole depuis plus de trois ans pour la BDM (Brigade des mères), une association qui a pour but la lutte contre les violences domestiques.
Elle soutient également la campagne promotionnelle d’une boutique nommée « Bubble hair » qui tend à reverser une partie de son CA aux enfants malades de l’hôpital Necker à Paris.
Femme entrepreneuse ,elle se spécialise dans l’accompagnement de projets d’entreprises innovantes à forte valeur ajoutée pour la société notamment sur les secteurs santé social et technologique.

Raymond TAUBE

A lawyer by training and a graduate of Sciences Po. Strasbourg, Raymond Taube founded the Institut de Droit Pratique (IDP) in 1997. His training and consulting activities lead him to work on the protection of personal data and the emerging law of artificial intelligence. 

It also intervenes in other areas of law, such as relational conflicts in the workplace (harassment, sexism, secularism, etc.), and has a network of trainers and advisors enabling the IDP to act in all legal matters. 

Raymond Taube is also editor-in-chief of the information website opinion-internationale.com, which regularly opens its columns to eHealth actors and to the various technological and digital revolutions. He is also co-author, with Patrice Cristofini, of the book eHealth & artificial intelligence: between the promise of the best and the fear of the worst (published by Maïa).

Max COLLIN

Max Collin is an entrepreneur, consultant and academic specializing in public affairs, geopolitical risk management and venture capital. For the past six years, he has been advising executives, companies and startups in the energy, health and financial sectors in matters of strategy, and managing investment operations for VC, PE and family offices.   

After pursuing degrees in strategy, philosophy and Asian affairs, in Sciences Po Lyon and Paris X, he earned his Ph.D summa cum laude from the Centre d'Etudes Diplomatiques et Stratégiques in Paris, and followed with an MBA from INSEAD.
